The biggest important factor is the card counting system in order to win blackjack. You need to choose the right card counting system. Remember, if you cannot count cards properly and quickly, you’ll be banned from playing at the casino.

Now, let’s get in to the basics:

It’s always better if you start with the Hi-Lo counting, because it’s easy and the best choice for beginners. Once you’ve practiced to deal one card at time through the deck, it’ll be much easier for you to pick up other techniques like 2, 3, and 4 cards at a time through the deck.

The KO or knockout card counting system, is a bit imbalanced but it’s simple to use and quite similar to the Hi-Lo counting system.

Other systems include: the Zen counting, the Hi-Opt counting, which is again similar to the Hi-Lo counting except for the 2 and aces which are counted as 0s here, the Uston Advanced Point counting, the Red Seven counting and the Omega II counting.

The etiquettes of playing Blackjack are:

  • If you are a beginner, try to play at a table where no other player is playing.
  • Bet on the dealer’s behalf. Not always but sometimes.
  • Do not try to touch the exposed cards in a face-down game.
  • Do not drink when you are playing.
  • Do not seek advice from the dealer on winning.
  • The different types of blackjack have different rules and specialties. Such as,   Spanish 21- blackjack 21 is quite player-friendly. With rules like, doubling down, late surrender etc.
  • Double-exposure blackjack- in this game, the dealer’s cards are exposed.
  • Blackjack Switch: this is common in online casinos, here the player needs to wager equally on two separate hands.
